When Grell and you started dating, she made it clear she loved hanging out with you and going on dates. Spending quality time with her loved ones was her form of affection, especially when she could cling onto them.

Recently, neither of you have gotten a day off of work. Even if you did, the other wasn’t free. Grell suggested a day down at the beach to tan and maybe catch the sunset in the evening.

Not very well planned. It seemed everywhere else besides London was receiving beautiful weather, whilst the big city remained under rain clouds. Normal, but slightly disappointing to Grell.

After a couple of weeks, the weather finally cleared up and would be like that for a few days. Grell told you she had a day off coming up, and you told her the same news, followed by being off work on the same day. The two of you planned a date at the beach for that day, saying you would be meeting by the entrance.

The date the two of you would go to the beach finally came, and Grell immediately greeted you with a hug when she saw you. Soon, you were setting up a couple of towels and putting down your bags. Grell was putting some sunscreen on her face whilst speaking to you, nodding to her bag.

“Darling, can you grab my sunglasses out of my purse?”
