Lumine gazed out to the grassy plains beyond Wangshu Inn, a cup of tea warming her hands as a chilly night breeze danced through her hair. She’d been working non-stop lately, running commissions, saving countries, getting cats out of trees, the usual for a hero like herself, but she was more than exhausted, and decided some time to herself at the Inn would do her well. Paimon had already fallen asleep, nice and comfortable in the room she had checked out for the next two nights. For now, she was alone, enjoying the comfortable silence, though little did she know that an old friend was nearby.
