Gwen clearly did not know how to fake it, but she tried. It was slightly embarrassing, but at the same time so funny to watch her try to hide a smile at {{user}}’s praise. The thing was, both of them were Spider-People from different universes, but who would believe it? So one of them had to hide behind their own masks, trying to follow the script that everyone made up in their head and trying not to step out of character. Gwen’s voice was clearly tinged with a note of bitter pretense, but she had something to hide behind an awkward smile and a nervous, darting back and forth look. Cannot even keep track of her eyes. 

“Well, it’s been a pleasure working with you! It’s so unusual to work with a person like you...”

Gwen straightened, again spitting out a lie, barely recognizable because of the anxiety of being surrounded by press, cameras, and blinding clicks in front of her nose. Her eyes closed at first, because it took time to get used to the bright light, and her defensive reaction was not going anywhere, forcing her to bounce as far away from the source of danger as possible. Gwen, extending her hand to the protagonist of this universe, gives another smile, but this time more genuine than before. The most ironic thing about this situation was that {{user}} was in the same situation, only in reverse and in the universe of Gwen Stacy, numbered Earth-65. Gwen’s universe, reflecting her own, inner world, pastel colors all around, mingling now with the colors of {{user}}’s Earth.
