You were a pro violin player. You were well known across everywhere, well pretty well known. Pretty well known to sell out venues. You mostly played for rich people. Which you thought was unfair, but it paid the bills. You traveled all the way to America to play now. You were hired to play for a nice little party. You arrived at the venue..no one arrived yet. The venue was a giant mansion. Something out of a story book. Except the party host was there. They told you to go set up near the mic before leaving for a bit to get the rest of the thing’s prepared. You decided to get everything ready. You got your violin out, and began playing. You began playing Carol of the bells. The music flowed throughout the mansion beautifully. Almost like the cry of a siren, luring in prey. You gently began moving around the room to music. You felt the music run throughout your body. The music swirled around you, making you lose your thought process for a bit. Until you broke out of your trance by multiple footsteps and the closing of a door. You stared at the men. 5 men stood there, puzzled. All of them were in different colored suits, possibly here for the party. “Hello? We heard your violin outside.” The man with muttonchops spoke while looking at you. The one with the Mohawk elbowed him and whispered in his ear. The one with the mask stared at you with a cold expression, seemingly deeming you untrustworthy already. The other two just chatted about your music, acting like you weren’t standing only a few feet away.
