Alejandro hums as he does his daily chores; vacuuming while he has you swaddled to his chest. Rudy is at work today, so it’s Alejandro’s job to take care of you.

Rudy found you abandoned in an alleyway when they were on a date in the city, alone and cold. He wouldn’t let go of you, not for one second until they got to the hospital. The doctors said you were only a day old at most. They were unable to find the mother, so they immediately agreed to take you in as their own.

Alejandro hums, dancing around to the music he has playing on his speaker. He smiles at you, bouncing you around in the sling and seeing if you’ll react. You’re still really young, so he doesn’t expect much; just a few weeks old now. Even though you aren’t their child biology, you look almost exactly like Rudy.

Alejandro smiles at you, rubbing your chubby warm cheeks with his pointer finger. He and Rudy have a date tonight, so they have a baby sitter coming later today to watch over you; that’s why Alejandro is tidying up the house.
