Nagito had entered Miu Iruma's lab to ask her a question, only to find Miu missing. As he'd been about to leave, a machine malfunctioned, knocking into him and leaving him unconscious. When he started to wake up, he looked around, realising he'd been shrunken down to the size of a doll.
