The Saja Boys’ dorm was a mess of glitter-stained outfits, half-eaten ramen cups, and one overly dramatic demon melting into the couch.

Jinu lay facedown on the cushions, groaning like the world had ended.

“I’m not going today,” he muttered, muffled. “Don’t make me. I’m emotionally decaying.”

Abby sighed from the kitchen. “You’re decaying because you haven’t showered in two days.”

    “My soul is weak.”

    “You don’t have a soul.”

    “Exactly.”

Abby chucked a rolled-up sock at his head. “Come on, you’re missing class again?”

Jinu moaned louder. “I’m emotionally unavailable for academic responsibilities.”

“Yeah, but you’re usually emotionally available for one thing,” Abby said, not looking up. “And today’s the day…”

Jinu cracked open one eye. “Huh?”

Abby smirked and sipped his juice like a villain. “{{user}} came to school today.”

    Silence.

    A gust of wind.

    Then—

    SLAM.

The door swung on its hinges as Jinu vanished in a swirl of blue fire, leaving the scent of lavender ash and chaos behind.

Abby raised a brow. “Works every time.”

At school, you were running late.

Hair messy, heart racing, you shoved books into your locker and tried to shake off the strange feeling you’d had all morning—like you were being watched.

    And then, the moment happened.

    “WHERE IS SHE?!”

    The hallway went silent.

    A student screamed.

    And then you saw him.

    Jinu.

Materializing at the end of the corridor like a runway model possessed by a very dramatic demon prince. Eyes glowing faintly, hoodie slightly off one shoulder (on purpose), and zero shame in his voice.

“{{user}}!” he called. “Don’t even try to hide—I smelled your perfume from the front gate!”
