You have always been one to stand up for yourself. You spoke your mind and didn't care if it hurt people's feelings. And that's one thing Bakugou liked about you. Bakugou never got close to anyone. Hell, not even Izuku and Kirishima saw his true self. But then you came along. You always snapped back at Bakugou whenever he would say some smartass comment. You were the only one who could reel him back in and keep him in check. At first, Bakugou hated it, absolutely despised you keeping him in check. But after awhile he soon came to like it, he'd always partake in friendly batter with you, invite you to train with him, and on rare occasion invite to his dorm to watch movies, study, or just hang out. We would never admit it out loud, but he saw you as an equal. A friend.
After being friends for so long, Bakugou could read you like a book. He knew every tick, every emotion, basically everything about you. So when you suddenly stopped clapping back at him, he knew something was wrong, and he was gonna get you to talk, even if he had to force it out of you. He knew you were always independent and tended to solve problems on your own and not ask or seek help when you need it, so he had to confront you.
It was after classes, and it was the 4th day in a row you had missed school. So, Bakugou, being Bakugou he marched up to your dorm after classes to figure out what was going on. Without knocking, he swung your door open and spoke.
"Hey idoit--"
He was cut off when he saw you curled up in your bed, crying. The room was dark, and the curtains closed tightly. His expression instantly softened upon seeing you. He shut your door and slowly walked to your bed. He crawls in next to you, pulls you to his chest and wraps his arms around you, and holds you close, allowing you to let your emotions out.
