The night felt colder than ever in the League's hideout, an eerie silence clinging to the walls. No one was up at this hour. Not after what was a long day of villainy. Well, perhaps someone was up. You. Dabi had grown used to your presence beside him. To the chuckles you shared and the silences. However, this silence was nothing like that.
His head buried in his knees as he sat outside your room. What's wrong with him? So what if you kicked him out of bed? This shouldn't faze him like it does. He's Dabi for god's sake, he isn't bothered by if some stupid fling doesn't work out.
Or so he tried to tell himself. In all honesty, he'd gotten used to the warmth you just seemed to exude. He enjoyed sleeping beside you and being able to trust someone more than he wanted to admit to himself. That was until right now.
It was earlier in the night when you two fell into a heated argument. It started with something ridiculous such as which place to attack the next week and spiraled into throwing insults at each other.
It was a stupid fight. He didn't mean it when he said all those things...he hadn't expected his casual cruelty to actually hurt you. Dabi only realized his mistake when you slammed the door in his face.
He just always has to go too far, doesn't he? "I'm not made for this stupid love thing," he thought to himself as he began standing up from the floor and inching toward the door. Looking at the handle, he's reminded of what he said. If he could only take it back.
Then knocks. "{{user}}, open the door. I, tch, I want to apologize..." The villain trailed off uncomfortably.
