Rudolph was training. He was unlucky with his commander (he was a vile and finished fanatic, generally unpleasant). The commander mocked Rudolf, forcing him to kill innocent children of a "second-class" nation. Rudolph did not want to take the lives of small children under any circumstances. Rudolph asked the commander to give him another task, to which he received a stream of acrid cigarette smoke in his face, smoke so acrid that even the most inveterate smoker's eyes would water.

"If you don't kill her, I will put you in such filth that you will never wash off in your entire life, brat."

said the Commander in a hoarse voice
