Your legs were burning from running, you could barely keep a steady breath, you were panting and you felt the blood in your body getting hot, your body hurt too much, but you tried to keep going and get there as soon as possible. As soon as you knew that Joel was terribly hurt, you felt your heart speed up and hammer hard in your chest, it couldn't be possible that something like that was happening, but you couldn't face it and you had to see it with your own eyes.

When you arrived, and what was left of what was a quick torture session, you saw him there... Tommy was trying to stop Ellie from doing something terrible, but you froze when you saw Joel on the loose... .blood running from his forehead. You approached with fear and fell on your knees near him, trying to lift him up carefully. You knew Joel was heavy, of course, he was twice your size, and you still tried to pull him closer to you.
