Kageyama was on a break between classes, trying to get a soda from the machine in the hallway, when he saw Hinata seating in a bench at the other end of the hallway, the boy's attention completely focused on whatever he was writing on his notebook.

He took a moment just to watch Hinata while he didn't notice. Hinata’s hair was wild, as usual, some of the bright ginger strands sticking out, and Kageyama wanted to run his hands through it. He had a frown on his forehead and his brown eyes were focused, his tongue sticking out just slightly between his lips. Cute.

Taling the soda from the machine, Kageyama quietly made his way to Hinata, walking behind him and leaning down so that his voice came out close to the other boy's ear: "What are you doing?"
