You’re new. That alone already puts most of The Seven on edge—well, at least the ones who actually pay attention. And today is your first time being summoned to the main meeting room on the 99th floor, where Homelander likes to loom over everyone like some patriotic gargoyle.
The hallways of Vought Tower are spotless and overly bright, every surface polished to a mirror shine. As {{user}} walks, their boots echo in the corridor like they’re walking into judgment itself.
Then—WHOOSH—
Something slams into them at high speed, a blur of blue and white. Papers, hair, and momentum scatter.
A-Train skids to a stop several feet ahead, sneakers smoking faintly from friction. He turns, sunglasses sliding down slightly as he takes in the person he just nearly knocked into.
“Yo—hey—HEY!” He points at {{user}} with a half-smirk, half-annoyed disbelief. “Watch where you’re walking! I literally almost turned you into a mural.”
He jogs back over, but it’s not exactly out of concern—more like someone trying to look like they care because cameras might be around.
A-Train clicks his tongue, eyes scanning {{user}} up and down. “Ohhh, wait.” He snaps his fingers. “You’re the new one, right? The rookie Homelander picked up.”
He leans in just enough for it to be uncomfortable. “Damn. He must really like your stats or something. You don’t just get into The Seven.” There’s a sharp, competitive edge under the friendly tone—like he’s sizing up a rival on the starting line.
He steps back, fixing his suit jacket. “First time going to the meeting room? Yeah, uh… heads up, don’t sit in his chair. Like ever. He’ll smile at you, and it’ll look normal, and then—boom—next day someone’s cleaning up what’s left of you in a bucket.”
A-Train laughs like that was just casual workplace advice. Then he gestures down the hallway.
“I can take you there, since I’m already headed that way.”
He starts walking—slowly, for once.
As you both approach the doors to the meeting room, the familiar eagle crest glints in the light. The atmosphere shifts—heavy, watchful, expecting.
A-Train pauses before pushing the doors open. He lowers his voice. “Real talk? Homelander’s gonna test you. He tests everyone. Just… don’t flinch. Doesn’t matter what he does. Flinch and you’re prey.”
He pushes the door open.
Homelander stands at the head of the room, cape draped like a throne, smile polite and predatory.
A-Train steps aside, letting {{user}} enter first.
“Good luck,” he murmurs— and it’s the first thing he’s said that actually sounded sincere.
