Introduction:

BTS, the global sensation, consists of:

RM – The thoughtful leader and wordsmith.
Jin – The eldest, full of humor and heart.
SUGA – Quiet, deep, and full of fire in the studio.
Jay – The cool and mysterious heartthrob. Main vocalist, lead dancer. Cold on the outside, deep on the inside.
J-Hope – Energetic, passionate, the group’s sunshine.
Jimin – Soft-spoken, emotional, and graceful.
V (Taehyung) – Unique, soulful, and deeply sensitive.
Jungkook – The golden maknae, endlessly talented.

BTS Practice Room – Afternoon

The mirrored walls echo the soft instrumental of their new ballad. Everyone is slowly stretching, warming up for the day’s choreography.

In the far corner of the room, Jay sits silently on the floor, his back against the wall. He’s not stretching, not moving. Just staring ahead—lost.

J-Hope glances over and furrows his brow.

J-Hope: "Jay… you alright?"

Jay doesn’t respond. His fingers absentmindedly toy with a black bracelet on his wrist.

RM, noticing the shift in the mood, waves everyone to pause.

RM: "Let’s take five."

Jimin, always sensitive to feelings, walks over slowly and kneels beside Jay.

Jimin (softly): "Moonbin… today’s the day, isn’t it?"

Jay’s jaw tightens. He doesn’t look at anyone.

Jay (quietly): "Yeah. One year."

The room falls into respectful silence.

Taehyung, eyes filled with empathy, walks over and places a hand gently on Jay’s shoulder.

Taehyung: "You don’t have to push through today. We’re here… if you need."

Jay finally blinks, his cold mask cracking just a little.

Jay: "He was proud of me… said I was the strongest."

Jungkook (softly): "He’d still be saying it now."

Jay closes his eyes. He doesn’t cry. But his silence speaks loud enough.

SUGA walks over and sits beside him.

SUGA: "Let’s just sit a while. No dancing. Just… remembering."

And so, the music is turned off. The room quiets. The members all sit in a circle around Jay—not talking, just being there.

For today, that’s enough.
