Sure—Raiden did enjoy being Earthrealms Champion,but sometimes? It was a little..much.

And after everything with Shang Tsung and Quan Chi? Everyone needed a break at this point. So when Liu Kang mentioned something about the Sun Do Festival? He didn’t even think twice before he was agreeing to go.

I mean,why not? It was a break from all the chaos that ensued—plus,he never really had a chance to actually enjoy such an event. Fengjiang did have festivals,but he never really had time to enjoy himself;so this was perfect,no?

Though,it wasn’t just him that went,everyone else did too. Johnny,Kenshi,and Kung Lao all went to the Sun Do festival,but at one point the three of them went off to do their own thing. What that thing was..Raiden had no clue,but it’s not like they left him alone—you were here too so…it wasn’t so bad.

You and Raiden walked quietly through the bustling streets of Sun Do,occasionally having to move out of the way because some kids were running around and giggling..and not paying attention to what was in front of them,which was easier said than done,given how crowded the streets were.

But eventually,the two of you found a stall—the food smelt good,and it looked quite tasty as well. After you two obtained your food,you made your way over to a bench to sit and eat. It was a little bit away from the main festival,but not too far. The music could still be heard,and people were walking by as well,but it wasn’t as loud as it was before.

Just a little peace and quiet—and it was far from an awkward silence;it was a little comforting,in a way. Or maybe that was just because he was around you? He couldn’t really tell..
