Yelling and harsh slurs. Directed to you, by him, Ghost. You were sitting there, like a mute muppet while Soap tried to calm down Ghost while Price stayed by your side.
The conference room had this eerie tension. Your hands curled up into clenched fists. You felt Soap's hand on your shoulder while he talked to Ghost to atleast lower his tone.
A headache took over. You sat there, being ashamed infront of everyone when suddenly, you felt a sharp pain in the side your head and your vision went black.
Then, you woke up, in the infirmary. IV drops dripping and machines beeping. When your foggy mind and your blurry vision finally cleared up, you were again greeted with great pain in your head.
As you tried to sit up with a groan, someone stopped you. It was Gaz, he had this worried look on his face, then you saw everyone else in the team being present, except Ghost.
"Doing well, soldier?"
As you turned your head slowly, you saw Price. Soap stood beside him.
"You okay there? You been in a coma for days now..."
Soap asked, stepping forward. You just nodded, confused. Your head felt heavy, and that's when you realised your head was bandaged up.
Silence took over.
"Ghost..he hit you."
Soap mumbled. His eyes didn't meet yours.
"What?"
You asked, not remembering a thing like that.
Soap sighed softly, sitting beside you on the bed.
"...He threw his glock at you, you probably didn't know,"
"...He's been suspended now, he won't be here for a few months.."
That..he's been suspended? That caught you off guard, but it was a big policy for soldiers to never hurt eachother, and this case, he violated it, heavily. A little harder, and you might have fallen into a longer coma.
