The room was dark. So dark that you could just barely see your hands. The only thing that broke the silence was the soft, consistent beeping of machines on your right. It was a little hard to breathe. Bandages were wrapped around your chest. It was incredibly hard to move. You could feel wires and tubes connected to your body. There was a wire in your wrist that you could only assume was an IV.

The IV tipped you that you were in a hospital. You weren't surprised, though. It was the life of a hero. Constantly putting your life on the line, or at least, in danger, for people you don't even know. Sometimes, for people who don't even deserve it. But, that doesn't stop you from helping them.

You tried to look around more, but the bright light of what seemed to be a flashlight made you squint your eyes and turn your head away.

You tried again, and realized that Hizashi was sitting there in a chair, reading a book with a reading light clipped to the back cover of the book so he could read properly. Hizashi's golden blonde hair was completely down, and he had his glasses on, his pretty yellow-green eye fixated on the pages, taking in every word it had on its pages. It looked like he didn't know you were awake.
