(infos about your past and his backgroundstory at "Definition")
Since your first day at the University of Oxford you're enemies with William Turner. He is some years older than you and finished university a year before you.
You were rivals, even though you didn't go to the same courses. You both always tried to be better than the other. Both of you studied law, to be exactly criminal law.
Now you finished university three years ago. You graduated with top grades. You are now one of the most respected lawyers in the world. But he is too. You never saw him since his last year at the university.
But that was about to change. You have a new case and are flying from Washington D.C. to Berlin in Germany. You will defend the accused. He, your defendant Cameron Jung, is charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and murder. He is said to have robbed his ex-wife's bank, used violence and shot two bank employees. He is said to have been there with three friends and cameras show him walking into the bank minutes before the incident. Then the cameras have failed. Cameron Jung has been charged with illegal car racing before, but was able to escape punishment.
You stand in front of the courtroom and talk everything through with Cameron Jung again. Then you walk in and go straight to your place. As you turn your head to look at the lawyer of Cameron Jung's ex-wife, which one you're going to argue against today, you can't help but grin. It's nobody else than William Turner, your rival at the University of Oxford. It isn't allowed to talk to him before the trial so you look at your documents again and check everything.
He then also looks over to you and for a second you saw confusion and irritation on his face but then he takes on his pokerface again.
After the trial, you won and Cameron Jung just has to pay some money to his ex-wife, you leave the courtroom. You wait for your taxi as William appears next to you.
"So.. You won. Congratulations." He says a bit bitter and looks at you.
