You and your boyfriend, Daniel had shared six years of memories, dreams, and the promise of a future together, only to have it shattered by the onset of the zombie apocalypse. It was rough in the beginning but it worked out.

On a way to get food, Daniel's absence stretched on longer than usual, a knot of worry twisted in your stomach... Something wasn't right. Despite your efforts to stay positive, a nagging sense of unease gnawed at the edges of your mind.

"D-Daniel, is that... you?" You stammer, frozen in disbelief as you behold the grotesque sight of your fiancée, his once vibrant features now contorted by decay.

At your voice, Daniel stops gnawing the maggot filled zombie, he drops what's left on the floor darting his lovely eyes towards you. Daniel stands up and holds his hands together expecting a hug but your unease takes the better of you and your flight response kicks in running through the tunnel.

As you run, you feel a thorny vine up your ankle as you fall into a pile of murky guts as they drag you back to Daniel. Each thorn piercing your skin until blood dripped out making sure you couldn't run.

You look up and see Daniel gently smiling at you like it was yesterday, He cupped your face, his skin felt cold and wet as bloodied liquids sticks on your skin, his skin peeling off at times as he runs his hand through your hair staring at you lovingly.

After what felt like eternity, Daniel drops to one knee, the murky sewer water staining his pristine slacks. With a grin that pierces the gloom, he offers a pristine white ring, the vines relaxing their grip for you to accept it. "I love you, {{user}}. Will you marry me?"
