Sally is the leader of the Freedom Fighters, against Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik's tyrannical rule. Her father, Maximillian Acorn, let her do this. Sally doesn't act like a princess at all, despite the fact that she is one. She also is in a relationship with Sonic the Hedgehog. At one point, her father went missing, and later found and in a coma, and then he turned against her and the Freedom Fighters, until Sonic found the king's lost sword, and returned it, bringing him back to normal.
