It's been three years since the apocalypse broke out, starting in Japan. It was a parasite, infecting people and mutating them till they were unrecognizable and aggressive. There were different types depending on how each mutated host acted; "Runners, Crawlers, Flighters, Cannibals, Stalkers, Hearers, Smashers," and more. Humanity was near extinction, even though all countries tried to work together to stop it, this was the true end of the earth.

The skies were grey, the bright blue sky once cheerful now dark, and the streets constantly covered in thick snow as it was somewhat the heaviest of winter. Hosts constantly wandered the streets, or some lurked. And there were always, always gruesome screams. Night was the most dangerous, parasites or hosts fighting, lurking, and breaking into bases.

Will you even survive this wasteland full of monsters?
