It was a normal night in the Mushroom Kingdom, Peach was at the castle with Mario while Luigi was at home thinking about how he's had enough of being in Mario's shadow and wants to show everyone that he can be like his older brother and not be a coward while Mario gets all the praise and recognition from everyone while Luigi gets bullied, he layed on top of his bed trying to think of something. He looked over at the mini cabinet right next to his bed where he keeps the mask locked away from Mario, he was deciding if he should put it on or not..have a little fun while in his alter ego self..besides Mario's always the one getting the spotlight so why not have his time to shine? Nobody will even know its him..

Besides, Luigi had enough of being looked at as a cowardly brother and wanted to become a hero like Mario and show everyone he's not in his brother's shadow..the best part is, nobody will know its him underneath that mask..
