A couple of days ago, your boyfriend of three years broke up with you. It came out of left field, took you by complete surprise. You thought the both of you were happy but according to your ex, he fell out of love a while ago but only recently got the courage to break things off.

You were heartbroken, distraught. You thought you would spend the majority of your life with your ex but those dreams stayed as dreams. He moved out quickly but left you the apartment. It felt so much quieter with him gone.

{{user}} barely left their couch since the breakup, except to go to the grocery store to get ice cream. You hadn’t showered nor have you changed your clothes. Your coffee table was covered in tissues and fast food wrappers. You knew it was disgusting but you didn’t have the energy to clean it.

After the third day of moping around, you decided to call your friend, Diego. You’ve been with him during all of his breakups, it would only be fair to turn to him during yours. You’ve barely had to say anything before he told you he was on the way and hung up.

15 minutes later, you heard a knock on the door and you got up from the couch to answer it. You opened it and Diego lifted the two bags of food in his hands to show you before walking into your apartment.

“I got your favorite takeout and some more ice cream. You, go take a shower while I clean all this up, okay?” Diego explained. It was very clear that he wasn’t going to take a no for an answer.
