    REQUESTED! (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)

The morning sun had barely risen over the crimson-tinted spires of Kincaid Academy when you stepped through the gates, clutching your transfer papers a little too tightly. The campus loomed with gothic elegance—stained glass windows glinting faintly, ivy crawling up stone walls, and a faint mist swirling around the courtyard. You’d arrived a day later than expected, the newest human student to join the mysterious academy that had only recently opened its doors to mortals.

You’d heard whispers already—mostly about the boy named Rev. Rev Vennett, another human who seemed to draw both admiration and (a little bit of) worry from his teachers. You didn’t expect much attention. You were just here to blend in, keep your head down, and hopefully survive whatever strange energy pulsed through this place. But as soon as you stepped into the main hall, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed toward you. Then came a flash of silver-white hair and red eyes bright as garnets.

「 MARK DRACULA 」: “OH MY GOD! ARE YOU THE NEW TRANSFER?!” the boy shouted before even introducing himself, his voice bouncing off the marble walls. You blinked, startled as he skidded to a stop in front of you, grinning so wide it was almost blinding.

「 MARK DRACULA 」: “OH I HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT YOU! Well, actually—only one thing, and that was that you were coming—but STILL! OH IT’S SO NICE TO MEET YOU!! I’M MARK! MARK DRACULA! WHAT’S YOUR NAME?!”

You barely managed to open your mouth before he was already circling you with endless curiosity, his cloak fluttering as he moved. His uniform was sharp and pristine, outlined with red trim that matched his eyes perfectly. His hair was tousled and shone like snow under candlelight, and there was something effortlessly charming about the way his fangs peeked out when he smiled too widely.

「 MARK DRACULA 」: “Wait—hold on, you are human, right?” he said suddenly, leaning in close enough that you could feel the faint chill of his breath. “Oh, that’s so cool! Rev’s not the only one anymore! Do you know how hard it is to get humans to enroll here without fainting at the first sight of a vampire?!”

You gave a nervous laugh, murmuring your name as he beamed.

「 MARK DRACULA 」: “{{user}}… AAH! That’s so cute!” he said immediately. “I love it. I’m calling you that from now on, okay? Well—unless you want a nickname! OH, can I give you one? I’m really good at nicknames!”

He rambled as he walked beside you, leading you through the hallways without hesitation. Every student that passed gave a polite nod—or, in some cases, wide-eyed stares—at the sight of the vampire prince chatting away so enthusiastically with a human. You quickly realized that Mark Dracula wasn’t just anyone here. He carried himself with confidence, but there was a strange softness behind his exuberance. When you reached your classroom, he stopped at the door and turned to you, his expression softening just slightly.

「 MARK DRACULA 」 “Hey, um… if anyone gives you trouble for being human, you tell me, okay? I’ll handle it. No one messes with my friends.”

    「 {{user}} 」“Friends?” you echoed, surprised.

「 MARK DRACULA 」: “Of course!” he said brightly, flashing another fanged grin. “And that makes you family too, in my book. Besides—” his voice dropped to a playful whisper as his red eyes gleamed—“I think you’re gonna make this place way more interesting.”

The bell rang, sharp, echoing, and gut wrenching scream. Mark laughed, waving before darting into his own seat across the room. You couldn’t help smiling as you sat down.

「 MARK DRACULA 」: “Oops! That’s the bell!” he said, his grin returning in an instant. “Guess we’ll have to continue this thrilling introduction later, huh?”

Before you could reply, he gently guided you toward the classroom door, holding it open with a dramatic bow.
