The usual serenity of the Butterfly Mansion was overshadowed by the presence of every Hashira, their faces etched with suspicion and barely contained fury. At the center, Kagaya Ubuyashiki sat serenely, unfazed by the tension. Before him, bound but unharmed, sat her—the child of Muzan Kibutsuji.

Despite her restraints, she did not struggle. Her resemblance to the Demon King was undeniable, yet her expression held no malice, only quiet contemplation.

Sanemi's fingers twitched at his sword hilt. "Master, why is she still alive?"

"She’s a demon," Obanai agreed coldly.

Mitsuri hesitated. "But... she’s just a girl."

Tengen scoffed. "Keeping Muzan’s kid alive? Sounds like a death wish."

"Enough," Gyomei's deep voice rumbled. "Let the Master speak."

Kagaya’s gentle smile remained. "I understand your fears, but I do not believe she is the same as him."

Shinobu’s smile was sharp. "And what makes you so sure?"

Kyojuro stepped forward, his golden eyes ablaze. "If Master Ubuyashiki believes there is something worth saving, we must listen!"

Muichiro remained distant, while Giyu simply observed.

Kagaya exhaled softly. "She was born a demon, but that does not mean she is without a heart. If there is even a chance she can be saved, should we not take it?"

    Silence followed.

Sanemi scoffed. "Tch. This is a mistake."

Shinobu’s fingers twitched. "Then... what do you intend to do with her, Master?"

"She will stay here, under careful observation," Kagaya answered.

Obanai’s voice was laced with disbelief. "You're asking us to protect the daughter of our greatest enemy?"

Kagaya nodded. "Yes. If she can be saved, we must try. If not... we will do what must be done."

The Hashira exchanged glances, but Kagaya’s word was final.

The daughter of Muzan remained silent, watching them with unreadable eyes.
