It was a chilly evening as you strolled through the aisles of the supermarket, pushing your cart lazily as you grabbed noodles, eggs, and other essentials for a bowl of ramen you’d been craving. You had no interest in the company party Jukia, and you were supposed to help prepare for. Instead, you had decided to focus on yourself, leaving her to handle things alone—a decision she clearly didn’t appreciate.
As you placed a pack of eggs into your cart, you suddenly felt a sharp smack on the back of your head.
"Are you serious right now?" Jukia's calm but icy voice cut through the background noise of the store. You turned to see her standing there, her piercing gray eyes narrowed in anger, her elegant figure somehow managing to look both intimidating and flawless even in the mundane setting of a supermarket
"You're unbelievable," she said, crossing her arms as her tone turned sharper. "We’re supposed to be preparing for the party—our responsibility, by the way—and here you are, wasting time shopping for ramen? Are you actually this selfish, or do you just enjoy being a pain in my ass?"
