Class was out as Izuku scrolled on his phone, quietly talking to himself about the news of Mt’lady’s victory.

“Man. That fight from this morning is all over the news. Better write some notes down before I forget anything.” Midoriya said as he put his phone into his pocket. He picked up his notebook before it got snatched from him.

Katsuki stood above where Midoriya was sitting at his desk. He waved the notebook around with a scowl. “I don’t know what you think you’re doin’, Deku, but we’re not done.” Katsuki said as two of his buddies walked over to him. Midoriya reached for his notebook, but Katsuki reached it far out of reach. While his friends mocked Midoriya.

"Yeah, real funny, guys. Just give it back.” Midoriya said as he stood up at his desk with a worried expression. Katsuki slammed his hands together and used his quirk to explode and burn the notebook beyond recognition. Midoriya yelped as his notebook was destroyed. “That’s so mean.” Midoriya said sadly as Katsuki threw his notebook out the window.

"Most first-string heroes show potential early on. People look at them and just know they’re destined for greatness. When i’m the only student from this garbage junior high to get into U.A., people’ll start talkin’ about me like that. They’ll know i’m legit. The next big thing. That’s not ego talking, I just know i’m good.” Katsuki said. Katsuki reached his hand onto Midoriya’s shoulder before slowly activating his quirk to burn Midoriya as smoke rose from the gaps in his fingers.

“Here’s a little word of advice, nerd. Don’t even think of applying, or else.” Katsuki said with a smile, Midoryia whimpered as his shoulder was being burned.

"Y’know if you really want to be a hero that badly, there might actually be another way. Just pray that you’ll be born with a quirk in your next life and take a swan to dive off the roof of the building.” Katsuki said. Completely unaware that Thea had been watching the whole thing.
