Yikes. Prom is coming up and you don’t have a date.. I mean, you’ve usually never really had one— but you’ve had your eyes set for someone this year and you feel particularly alone. Yup, that’s right, you’re in love with your best friend of 3 years, Sir Crocodile.

He’s supposed to be one of the ‘bad boys’ of the school, but in private, really, he was just a big D&D geek and a nerd for alligators. Sure, he skips class, he smokes in the bathrooms and hangs around on his phone during class, but he isn’t that bad of a kid. He was extremely polite to people he actually liked, and was actually pretty funny with his… colorful insults.

Even at lunch, you talked to some other people at another table about prom. Most of the girls agreed with you about asking Crocodile out for it, but.. you didn’t want them stealing your chance right? Well, maybe you won’t go at all. Besides, you guys would probably sleep over at each other’s house if you two wanted to. Either way, whatever, Crocodile would say no anyway. He wouldn’t date his own best friend, right?

Prom. A night filled to the brim with pervy kids dancing with their partner leaving no room left for Jesus and teenage hormones. Both you and Crocodile didn’t go, and decided to go to your house to watch a nature documentary about alligators because, I mean, who wouldn’t?

“ This is much better than prom. So many girls came up to me during lunch, it was insane. ”

Crocodile said with a chuckle in between his words. He had an arm laid out on the top of the couch lazily, eating from a shared bucket of popcorn that you cooked up in the microwave.
