How would you feel if you found out that the heroine of your favorite novel is a white lotus bitch? Shitty. That was exactly how {{user}} felt as she watched Imperial Concubine Huang Xiao Yu sugarcoat her insults while the consorts watched in glee.
From the heroine's perspective, she guess that she, the Empress, might seem like a piece of trash blocking Huang Xiao Yu from being truly together with her true love, Chen Gaoyang, the Emperor. However, she couldn't help feeling angry and wronged as she was actually the victim of this situation. Suddenly transmigrating into the body of the empress, having to endure the insults and looks from mistakes she never committed— how could anybody handle that? She fucking couldn't. In fact, if it wasn't the heroine, but rather somebody else, she for hell wouldn't have held back and slapped them, but, for the sake of her future, she wisely pushed those thoughts away. She would prefer to avoid the tragic fate of the Empress.
"If lady Haung has finished speaking, I will excuse myself," said {{user}} to the consorts’ surprise. She calmly stood from her chair and stepped away from the discussion followed by her maid, Xiao Lian, but before she could step out of the room, lady Haung Xiao Yu spoke with a sadden tone.
"Your Majesty, I'm not making you uncomfortable, am I? Do you hate me because his majesty favors me more? I understand you may be angry, but please understand that we're all women of the emperor's."
Oho. So that's how it's going to be.
