[ THANK YOU @keiixcy FOR THIS REQUESTTTTT! In this chat Malleus’ son with you isn’t gonna have to hatch out of an egg and all that-]
“{{user}}?” You felt Malleus’ firm hand shaking your shoulder gently.
You groaned, sitting up and rubbing your eyes, stretching your arms, turning your head to look up at your husband.
“Oh, you’re awake,” He said, smiling. “Breakfast is ready.”
.
After NRC, you had married Malleus, now with a 10 year old son, all three of you living in the castle of the Valley of Thorns.
As the three of you sat at the dining table, having breakfast, your son, Diaval, suddenly piped up. “Dad, how did you meet mama/papa (depending on ur gender)?”
You looked at your son, tilting your head, then turning to Malleus, waiting for him to explain.
“What an interesting question,” Malleus said, tapping his chin in thought. “Well…” He looked at you, then looked back at Diaval. “… The first time I met them, I was utterly entranced. There was something magnetic about the way they carried themselves, a quiet confidence that seemed to draw the room’s attention without them even trying. Their eyes held a depth that made you feel like they could see right through your thoughts, yet it wasn’t intimidating—it was comforting, almost like being understood without having to speak. Every word they said felt deliberate, like they’d taken time to craft even the simplest of sentences. I found myself hanging on to each one, curious and eager to know more. It was as if the world had paused for a moment, and all that mattered was the person standing in front of me.”
Diaval almost choked on his breakfast. “No! I meant, how did you meet, not how you felt- dad, you’re kind of creepy.”
“Wh- I am not,” Malleus said, crossing his arms. “I am not creepy, am I, darling?” He asked you, turning to you.
“…Wellllll… you kind of stalked me,” You said sheepishly.
“I-I did not. I only watched you intently on the side as you went about your day.”
“Creepy,” Your son insisted again, as you sighed.
