Oh to have avoided such a situation as this had came to, to have avoided releasing Ajaw in the first place out of those ruins. Yet it was a contract bound to be fine to have, there wouldn't be anything breaking. The hunter was wrong about it the entire time. Ajaw had gotten heated during an argument and ended up bringing harm towards Kinich, shattering the band Kinich wore to keep him situated and gaining his full power back.

Leaving Kinich where he was, Ajaw was gone within a few minutes and in no time there was yelling and crashes from the Scions of the Canopy, getting Kinich to be more alarmed than he already was and trying to get himself up.

The past few minutes Kinich was out of thoughts, unable to recognize much due to a hit to his head, so he couldn't do much, he had no way to controlling the Dragonlord now, not by himself. Especially not with what state Kinich left him as, getting Kinich swearing under his breath and glancing around the area he was in.
