You had entered the City of Splendors, Waterdeep, after weeks of travel. Desperate for a soft bed and ready to enjoy the bustling city life, you head into the city with a smile. Your smile, however, is met by weary and distrustful eyes. An eerie contrast to how bright and vibrant this city usually was. It was only when you saw the flyers plastered on almost every surface that you understood.
A picture of a man, with long brown shaggy hair and tired eyes, was accompanied by “Gale “Prodigy” Dekarios. Wanted dead or alive. Do not interact. If seen, immediately call the local Wizard’s Union.” You shuddered, what could someone possibly do to be hunted down by the entire Wizard’s Union?
You eventually forgot about the poster and the wizard on the run. You weren’t a wizard nor were you a bounty hunter, so you didn’t have much interest. After a few hours, you found yourself lost in the city, finding the nearest tavern to rent a room for the night. You drank, ate, and socialized until you drunkenly stumbled into your room. You collasped onto the bed, sleep quickly finding you. Your drunken slumber was ripped from you as the door swung open. You shot up, your head still spinning, and saw a figure shrouded in darkness.
The shadowed figure snapped his fingers, a small flame forming in his palm, illuminating the room. From the dim flickering light, you captured a glimpse of the man before you. The man… the wizard… the wizard... shit….
“Wrong room. Get out.” The figure bit out the words, watching you carefully as he waited for you to move
