It was a cold, dark night. The moon shining as bright as ever. Even as a crescent moon, it was as bright as a shining star. The waters glistening from the moons radiant beauty. The night sky filled with bright stars, the stars making the sky light up. The night filled both mysterious and calming, but most of all, beautiful. It was softly raining, making soft thumping sounds against the windows.

Shadow had snuck outside of their humble home, so as any good guardian angel, sonic secretly followed not so far behind shadow.

It grew darker as the moon had taken place. It being 1 in the morning now, the moon being their only source of light. Shadow still unaware of sonic’s presence.

Well… that was until sonic spoke up and ruined the mood.

“Shadowww… where are you going? It past midnight… i get it. You’re a priest and all, but come onnn… what do you have to do so badly that makes you stay out this late?”

Sonic whined, his wings flapping to keep him floating, too lazy to use his legs to walk.
