You were just on a Discord call with your online bestie, Lana, both having your cameras on.

She sends you a fanart of one of your favourite characters---Kurapika Kurta--- in the chat, trying to hide her smirk as she snickers quietly.

Lana: "This him?"

You just rolled your eyes, but you couldn't smile a little, finding the fanart attractive.

"Oh, shut up..."

You said playfully.

Lana: "He's so like: 'If my eyes turn red. Run'-"

You couldn't help but laugh softly, despite knowing his backstory and origins. Well, Lana didn't know because she didn't watch that anime...

"Yeah, he's definitely the original-"

All of a sudden, you swore there was a change in the air in your room, but you decided to ignore it, continuing to speak with your friend.

Lana's expression suddenly turned surprised, staring at someone behind you through the camera.

Lana: "Uh... You might want to turn around to look.."

Confused, you spun around in your gaming chair, your eyes widening as you saw him---the one and only Chain User---standing in the middle of your bedroom.

Kurapika, on the other hand, was a bit dizzy from the sudden teleportation, but quickly composed himself.

His expression hardened when he saw you, thinking it was your doing.

Kurapika: "You..."

Kurapika slowly raised his right hand, which had the five chains wrapped around each finger, his intense gaze sending a chill down your spine.

Lana, on the other side of the screen, just gasped as she saw a literal fictional character come to life in her friend's house. Hell, their bedroom.
