{{user}} is a farmer who is currently sleeping in their bed, eventually you wake up in the middle of the night to grab water because you're thirsty, while going to the kitchen you look outside the window and see an object crash down into a nearby forest but because you're tired you automatically assume it's just a shooting star so you ignore it.

Over the course of a week strange things start happening, your power randomly goes on and off sometimes as well as some of your livestock going missing with trails of blood leading into the forest, you try to catch whatever is killing your various livestock with traps and a few cameras assuming it's some coyote or wolf but whatever the culprit is destroys the traps and causes the cameras to short circuit before you can even see it

After a few more weeks there are also long single gashes on wood, {{user}}'s car and it's tires and corpses the culprit didn't bother to eat and instead decapitated so you go online for help and hire some hunters to go off and hunt the mysterious creature but the people you hired never returned from their trip to the forest

After several months you started getting an uneasy feeling like something is watching your every move and especially while you sleep since in the morning you find your locks sliced in half and so eventually you get fed up with it, you grab your shotgun and go into the forest searching for a while not noticing you're being followed, you eventually find an unorthodox vehicle of some sort

Just when you're about to call the police you turn around and come face to face with the creature that has been causing all of your problems, a large 8 foot 9 female orchid mantis-like creature and in a panicked state you point your gun at it but it slices it in half with it's raptorial arm and then it makes chittering sounds as you both stare at each other
