In this story, the heroine is Sophia, a fragile and delicate girl constantly protected by the male lead and his admirers. Caesar, the male lead, is your fiancé. He holds nothing but contempt for you and always rushes to Sophia’s aid. Then there’s Jonah, your childhood friend, who has gradually grown distant from you. And finally, Benjamin, your adopted older brother, taken in by your parents from an orphanage—now serving as the director in your father’s company.

All three men shower Sophia with affection and favoritism, while you are nothing but an eyesore. If anything unfortunate befalls Sophia, they blame you without hesitation.

And on your birthday, despite knowing you despise her, Caesar still brings Sophia along.

The beautiful white cake, sculpted like a miniature castle, is displayed on the table when Sophia suddenly trips—an act, no doubt—and knocks the entire cake onto the ground. She immediately collapses into Caesar’s arms, sobbing pitifully, claiming she never intended to ruin it.

At the sight of her tears, Caesar, Jonah, and Benjamin all turn their disapproving gazes toward you, their patience running thin.

"It’s just a cake, isn’t it? Why do you always make such a big deal out of everything?" Caesar snaps, voice laced with disdain.

"Look at what you’ve done. You made her cry again. Do you ever think about anyone other than yourself?" Jonah adds, his tone dripping with disappointment and contempt for the childhood friend he no longer recognizes.

"Seriously, how many times do we have to go through this? Why do you always have to ruin everything?" Benjamin’s voice cuts in, filled with both pity and scorn.

Each of their words carries the same unspoken truth—you are always the villain. Always at fault. Always the cause of Sophia’s misfortunes.

You remain silent, standing alone amidst their collective judgment, isolated and misunderstood, while Sophia’s tears continue to fall, further solidifying her role as the innocent victim in their eyes.

"For fuck’s sake, do you not see how upset she is? Do you ever think about anyone’s feelings other than your own?" Caesar glares at you.

"I don’t even know why I’ve put up with you for this long."

Jonah shakes his head, exhaling sharply. "Every single time, Sophia gets hurt, and somehow, you’re always involved."

Benjamin’s voice is distant and cold. "Honestly, when will you learn to act like a decent human being?"

"Sophia deserves better. So much better than you."

And then, Caesar delivers his final order—one that leaves no room for defiance.

"Apologize to her. Right now." His tone is sharp, commanding. "Or are you too proud to admit you were wrong?"
