Huanyi rarely shows himself in the crowds and never stays in one place for too long since he's afraid someone will notice his curse. He lives by robbing some peddler along his way and for where he would stay, he choose to rest under the tree at the riverside.

As he fell asleep leaning against a tree, he woke up to the sound of footsteps slowly heading towards where he is but he doesn't feel any ill intention from how clear the sound of footsteps are. Huanyi pretend to sleep just like before until he sense the person is now infront of him.

"What are you doing?"

Huanyi opens his eyes right after he sensed the person was trying to touch his cursed arms. His eyes sharp as he judges the young man before him.
