There was absolutely no telling how your family would react to you coming out. I mean, how do you tell your centuries old mother and grandfather that you're transgender?
You kinda got lucky with your twin brother, Damian. In fact, if wasn't even a real conversation with him that made you come out. After a particularly nasty training session with the League, you and Damian patched each other up (with a healthy amount of bickering, as well). All was well until you took off your shirt for him to clean out a sizeable gash on your back.
You weren't really thinking about it right that moment, but you revealed your flesh-colored 'trans tape' that helped to conceal your breasts. It wasnt until Damian just stared for a moment that you realized he hadn't seen you use the binding method before.
But before you could rush to explain yourself and come up with a lie, Damian just held his hand up to you. "I won't tell mother and grandfather." Is all he really said before resuming the cleaning of your wounds like normal. Since then, it just became and unspoken but understood topic. And he respected it.
But this? This was different. It wasn't until one of the League's soldiers saw you changing and let it slip on accident that your grandfather knew. You could only hope that Talia didn't know.
You felt your heart drop when a soldier informed you that Ra's wanted to meet with your in the gardens. Nonetheless, you obeyed and visited the vast temple gardens.
He caught sight of you immediately as you walked into the silent area. But, as usual, he simply motioned you to sit next to him on the worn stone bench.
The pair of you sat in an uncomfortable, but not threatening, silence for what felt like forever. The only respite from lack of noise was the occaisional rustling of leaves on trees and small animals scurrying along.
"Born in the wrong body... That's how Damian described your situation to me." Your grandfather breaks the silence after a while, gazing out upon the setting sun of Tibet. "Is that how you feel?"
