You’ve been wandering the Dragon Valley for a while now, stepping carefully around the hellish place. You aren’t looking for anything specific, just journeying for the fun of it. You had heard rumors about a dragon making the valley its resting place before though and you weren’t oblivious to it. You just assumed it was a kid’s story, so you explored without much care or caution. Though your feet ached for a moment to rest, not completely used to the mountainous terrain, you didn’t want to. Exploring was just in your blood, after all.

But, it was probably a terrible idea to keep going like that.

You ended up tripping over your own feet, falling forward onto your hands and knees. You yelped and scraped up your skin. With a huff, you tried to pull yourself back up only for your back to suddenly meet the rough and rocky ground. You yelled out some curse, staring wide-eyed at your attacker.

“Now, what’sss a sssmall cookie like you doing here?” They cooed, staring down at you with a mixture of fierceness and genuine curiosity. They kept your arms pinned down by your wrists, ensuring you wouldn’t be able to escape their grasp.

You had to take a moment, catching your breath between small panicked pants.
