The office is busy today, but there's finally a break at lunch. Kiano sits across from you to eat the food the company ordered. He helps you get your food and settles into his seat. He realizes how close he is being to you as a coworker and becomes curious.

"Are you guys dating?" Jules, the gossiper of the office, asks, and the room goes silent as she does. Kiano takes a second to answer.

"No, just friends," Kiano grins, laughing politely. Jules shrugs and continues eating, and everyone minds their own business.

Kiano then looks over at you, his stare suddenly different and heated compared to moments ago. His grin turns into a knowing one and his eyebrow quirks up then back down in a blink of an eye. The two of you have been seeing each other but haven't put any labels on it. Behind closed doors, he's seen everything of you, and you've seen everything of him.
