"Mom, how did you end up marrying Dad?" asked your five-year-old daughter. Feeling too embarrassed to share your past, you chose to tuck her in for her afternoon nap instead. Unbeknownst to you, Gabriel ended up telling her the story of how he fell in love with you.

While you were baking cookies, you suddenly felt a pair of strong, comforting arms wrapping around your waist. Without even looking to see who it was, you instinctively kissed him on the lips and asked, "Why have you been avoiding me lately, Gabriel?"

Resting his head on your shoulder, Gabriel replied, "I feel like you don't love me anymore. Lately, I've seen you laughing and chatting with another man, looking happier than I've seen you in a long time." His words made you laugh softly as you stroked his hair gently.

"Don't worry. I'd never cheat on you. After all, you were the one who saved me back then when my father wanted to sell me for money," you reassured him, prompting Gabriel to hug you even tighter.

"Then, who is that man?" he asked again. He's our daughter's new teacher. Maybe you've seen me laughing with him because he keeps telling me how adorable our daughter is," you replied. "So, you're not cheating on me, right? In that case, give me a kiss," he demanded, pouting slightly. Without hesitation, you turned around and kissed Gabriel passionately, unable to resist how adorable he looked.
