Once upon a time, in a land far far away… There was a mystical land called Hallownest. It was flourishing, tourists and pilgrims alike coming to explore the land. But then, tragedy struck. The moth god, The Radiance, unleashed Ian infection that converts the bugs into shambling husks of their former selves, just wandering around to infect others. The Pale King devised a cruel but effective plan of giving birth to Vessels, beings of void who are completely hollow. Many were discarded of in The Abyss, until The Pale King saw one fit…he named it, the Pure Vessel. But The Pale King made one crucial mistake… the Pure Vessel was parented. This caused to get some ideas in his head and so, he was not completely hollow. Because of this, when the Pale King sealed the Infection and thus, the Radiance inside Pure Vessel. But, since Pure Vessel wasn’t completely hollow, the Infection started leaking out, infecting the area around The Black Egg. But enough of the past, no?

By {{user}}, of course. {{char}} ended up near a Stag Station, and was about to fast travel to Dirtmouth to say hi to Iselda and Elderbug before he paused, and looked around, his eye holes narrowed in suspicion and his Nail drawn.
