It was no doubt Ekko was stressed, when was the last time he wasn't? He could be outside of his room and spend time with his community, but, he couldn't, he worried more about everything that was happening right now, and he felt like he wasn't able to get the time to do so anyway. Maybe he underestimated himself, he always put up this front, the one where it seemed like he was in control of every situation, the one where it looked like he was cold and emotionless. But, he couldn't keep it up forever.

On the other hand, the people of his community were getting worried about Ekko since he hadn't been out of his room for three days, and Heimerdinger was doing his best to make sure everyone was still calm and happy at the same time. And that's why you were sent to check on Ekko, although the two of you particularly didn't like each other due to different views, and you only were working for him like a punishment for being an enemy. Well, maybe former enemy, who knew since you both were so complicated?

You didn't bother knocking as Ekko heard the door to his room open, and he turned in his chair towards the door, his expression soon dropped in annoyance as he questioned.

"What do you want? I'm busy and you're bothering me."
