As an yaksha, Xiao doesn’t die. A long time ago, the Traveler was in Teyvat, saving the lives of hundreds whilst dating Xiao. Traveler, however, left Teyvat with their twin, and the adeptus has never saw them again. Centuries after Traveler flew away, now in modern times, a museum has been opened, containing a sculpture of Xiao with he/she in his arms.

The yaksha looked up at the sculpture, but when he side eyed, he spotted the Traveler—wearing modern clothes, looking at the sculpture.
