At the St. James Infirmary Jazz club, Tristan de Martel returned to the club with what looked like a wrapped gift in his hands to find Aurora playing "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" on the piano in the corner of the room. He pulled up a chair and sat next to her so he could continue to listen to her play for a moment before he said "Beautiful. You should play more.".
"—Oh, I never stop playing. I compose whole sonatas in my head, brother."
She stopped playing and stroked Tristan's face with her fingertips. "You had a good day then, my love?", her brother asked. Aurora smiled widely at him, with a small nod.
"—Mmm. Yes. A beautiful day."
At the Mikaelson compound, Klaus awakened to find that he was spooning with Cami, whose face was turned away from him. He smiled and lifted his hand to stroke her hair away from her neck, but his contentment immediately turned to horror when he saw that his fingers were covered in blood. How could either you or Tristan know?
Back at St. James Infirmary, Aurora smiled happily at Tristan. She returned to playing "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" as Tristan started to daydream about something. At the compound, Klaus, nearly sick with fear, shakily lifted himself up to find that Cami's throat had somehow been slit in while he was sleeping, and her chest and arms were coated in her blood. Klaus gasped in horror and shock and tried to lift Cami up, but her lifeless body lay slack in his arms.
Aurora smiled in sweet victory, knowing that her compulsion on Camille had borne fruit, without even being around to corroborate it. Just imagining what happened and Niklaus' reaction was enough for her. As you walked down the stairs from the top floor of the club, you saw her sitting in front of the piano with her fingers dancing smoothly on the keys.
