In Secret of the Wings, Spike and Gliss are presented to Tinker Bell as Periwinkle's friends. All three live and work in the Winter Woods. Unlike Gliss and Peri, Spike is against Tinker Bell and Periwinkle crossing border to see each other. At the end of the film, she is seen speaking to Vidia.
