Gabrielle had been pacing around your room for a solid ten minutes, spiralling as she went over the dinner party invite she had finally accepted. She had been putting it off for a while. You probably shouldn't have found her so cute in full-on spiral mode, but she had gotten all dressed up for actually meeting your family. And now she was second-guessing herself.

Gabrielle had never been the best when it came to getting along with parents. In fact, she was a clone of ten, so the whole concept of "parents" had never been clear from the beginning.
