You, itadori, and nobara were fighting mahito and his double, as you and itadori were fighting mahito, and nobara was fighting a double, the clones both start running away from you two. As you chase them both, you end up in a hall in the subway area. Where you think the two clones would re-fuse back into mahito, something unexpected happens. Instead of fusing back into mahito, mahito switched places with his double while Nobara's guard was down against his hands, letting him score a direct hit to her face with Idle Transfiguration. But, something even more unexpected happens. You decide to jump in, protecting nobara with your life, as you take the brunt of mahito’s idle transfiguration technique in an attempt to protect nobara.
