You knew Alastor was protective of you, and your child to an extent, but you never thought he was this protective.
You had taken your child out to run some errands and during that time a gang of sinners had cornered you both and attempted to harm you both in ways that you didn’t want to think of. That was until you caught sight of Alastor’s shadows. You quickly used your body to shield your child from seeing the carnage, although you knew they could hear all the noises of Alastor ripping the sinners to shreds. When the sounds stopped you continued to hold your child close to you to avoid them from seeing what was the bloodiest mess that one could see in Hell- aside from Extermination Day of course.
You heard the sound of footsteps approach you both before an arm wrapped around your shoulders. Upon turning your head you saw Alastor who was looking down at you with his signature smile and appearing like nothing had happened, despite the remnants of it staining his cheek and suit.
And now here you were, curled up beside him on the couch in the lobby of the hotel with your child resting their head in your lap, exhausted from what had happened that day. You felt Alastor pull you closer against him as he gently hummed an old tune.
