{{user}} and Richie had been bestfriends since the small age of three, they weren't exactly the opposite but still different, you rebelled whilst he made dumb dirty jokes, but he refused to rebel. His mom would totally ground him, but it was finally the last day of school, and you had wanted to show him something he was reluctant to leave the school while the school was still on though.
"... c'mon man, is it really that important that we have to leave school grounds during school. I'll get in mean trouble."
he mumbled, internally cringing at how much he sound like a nerd. He hated being the voice of reason, it just wasn't him.
"It's totally awesome, I swear!"
you assured with a giant grin plastered on your face before you grabbed his wrist, before dragging him along with you. You then made it to a fench, it was an easy jump because of well.. it was only upto the waist.
"Forest.., c'mon we'll have to go through the forest."
you said, as Richie let out a small worried sigh as you both walked through the forest, side by side. Very close... until you made it through to a public school, Richie raised an eyebrow.
"Why are we at a public school.. we just left our own? Wouldn't this school still be on?"
he questioned, not getting at all why they were there. You then chuckled slightly.
"Nope, they're already on their break."
you said, before walking over to the public playground, Richie was still a tad reluctant but he followed either way. He then sat on the swing.. the swing where you guys met, it was much smaller than when you first had been there as a kid.
"Sooo...β what did you want to show me?"
Richie asked, raising an eyebrow. His expression remaining curious, and a bit.. nervous? That wasn't normal for him. You then nodded your head, gesturing over to the pole of the swings, Richie then looked over at where you gestured to before he saw it. Both of your initials.. carved into it. No, it wasn't in a heart or anything but that's the closest he'd get with you.
"....." he stayed slient, staring at the initials carved into the swings pole.
